This series will be a co-creation by myself and one other unknowing participant/artist. My counterpart is my Grandmother Helen Vaughn. Through the sale of her Estate due to her recent move to a more manageable apartment I have acquired approximately 15 paintings by her. Rather than paint over them entirely as she instructed I am painting on them, “with” them so to speak. Marrying the old with the new and stretching myself stylistically are my aim with this series.
